The Natural History of Austin: Biological Context and Urbanization

Join me for my monthly Lunchtime Lecture today noon downtown Austin at City Hall Boards and Commissions Room
This talk will focus on the natural history of Austin and its relationship to Texas natural history. Observers ranging from university researchers and “citizen scientists” to writers like Bedichek have documented the changing plants and animals of the Austin area. Yet, we still cannot agree on what is native to this place. Join us and see if we can figure out what should belong in the natural history of Austin.

When: 17 July, 2012 12pm - 1pm.
